Xcalibur Airborne Geophysics is an airborne geophysical company based in Pretoria, South Africa, that specialises in ultra-high resolution and standard airborne surveys throughout Africa and the Middle East.

We offer a number of different airborne geophysical services such as, gradient magnetic and radiometric, time domain, EM, gravity surveys and value-add data processing and interpretation.

FIXED-WING GRADIENT MAGNETIC & RADIOMETRIC SURVEYS

Typically flown with our own customized, robust, low-flying and safe Air Tractor magnetic gradiometer systems for maximum efficiency, endurance and top of the range ultra-high resolution geophysical data.

HELICOPTER MAGNETIC & RADIOMETRIC SURVEYS

Xcalibur offers an airborne gravimetric survey system in a BN-2T Islander or Pac P-750 using a GT-2A gravimeter and wing-tip mounted magnetometers.

FIXED-WING ELECTROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

An off-time time-domain electromagnetic (TEM) system has been developed on the robust, efficient and safe Air Tractor platform. The development program is ongoing and early test surveys are now being flown.

VALUE-ADD PROCESSING & INTERPRETATION

Advanced data enhancement, data integration, litho-structural mapping, and more detailed 2.5D and 3D modelling using state-of-the-art software are provided as GIS-compatible products by our five geophysicists who have more than 100 years’ of cumulative experience between them.
